Complaint against the International Accreditation Company (Kia Motors)

Owner in the Sultanate of Oman, Muscat by: Sheikh Saud Bahwan.

I’ve bought a car Sirento SUV on 28/01/2010 from the Agency for Kia cars, Nizwa Branch. On 07/03/2010, before completed 5000 km I observed abnormal sound when it begins operating. While I observed it, directly I contacted the maintenance department in Nizwa Branch. On 09/03/2010, I took the car to them for checking as per them advise. After checking, they inform me there is no defect and it is normal. On Wednesday 10/3/2010, I went to Nizwa Workshop and I operate the car in front of Workshop Manager (Krishna) and Sales Manager (Sunil), both heard abnormal sound while operating. They agreed that car has a problem and I left the car in workshop to check and to find the exact problem. On 11/03/2010, they inform me that they have solved the problem. Next day, abnormal sound appeared again and I contacted Workshop Manager, Nizwa Branch and he advised me to take it to Muscat Main Branch and to meet Mr. Sharaf Al-Din with my request to provide replacement for other car and he told me will inspect the car first and then will decided later. They gave me temporary car (Sportage) for used for time being. After eight days (20/03/2010), they called me to receive my car and they report at me the car they checked and did not find any problem. Unfortunately, same day evening found the same abnormal sound was appeared. Same time, I’ve contact Sales Manager (Nizwa Branch) and he advise me to take back the car Nizwa workshop next day and to find a real solution. After three days, I went there with my friends and started the car in front of them found the sound as usually. Same time, I requested from them to replace the car to new one. But the Workshop Manager insisted that he wanted to examine the car. After long discussion, they gave me a small car (Rio) to use. Since 21/03/2010 until 03/04/2010 the car remained in Nizwa Workshop. I met Mr. Mohammed Habib from the office of Sheikh Bahwan and request to move the car from Nizwa Workshop to Muscat Workshop to hear the sound of abnormal by himself. Then he recorded the sound through video and sent to Korea Manufacture. The feedback came from manufacture that this naturally sometimes when oil degree comes down and cold as cold most happening more sound. They called me to return back Rio and to take back my car. Otherwise, they will court me to police. I received my car on 06/04/201 till now I’m using manufactured defect car and abnormal sound always appeared. When I contact them again they told me they are going to report with Ministry of Trade and Industry that they are responsible for the car's problem on behalf of International Accreditation Company.
