Aston Martin’s new Cygnet urban runabout – based on the Toyota iQ – just got a little more stylish with the announcement of an ultra-limited run “Cygnet & colette” edition
Outside, the Cygnet & colette gains special Lightning Silver paint with blue race-inspired stripes and details that might seem a bit overreaching on an urban car. Diamond turned wheels and special badging on the outside finish the look.
Inside, colette was inspired by its mascot – Oscar the chocolate brown Labrador. While the Cygnet doesn’t come with its own dog, it does have plenty of brown leather covering almost every surface. Those not wrapped in leather are either finished in stainless steel or quilted Alcantara (a synthetic suede).
Cygnet & colette models will be delivered with a unique keychain and blue “occasional cushions” that look to us like pillows.
Aston Martin has indicated that it wants to pursue more bespoke Cygnets with other designers, but the Cygnet & colette is its first endeavor.
If you’re interested, you’ll have to place your order through colette’s store in central Paris on 213 Rue Saint-Honoré. The Cygnet & colette lists from €48,995 and will likely be pretty hard to legally import to the rather less-trendy United States for road use
