100 Miles per charge
There are three different chargers for the Leaf. The slowest is the regular house plug. It takes around 18 hours for a complete 0%-100% charge. The second type of charger can charge the Leaf in eight hours and can be found at various malls, hotels, and other busy locations with electric vehicle plugs and parking spots. The last and fastest charger will be installed all along the I-5 and can charge the vehicle in 30 minutes.
Sure, 100 miles might not seem like a lot, but that is just the average, not the limit. Our tour guide, Dillon, informed us that Nissan has reached as much as 124 miles and as little as 64 miles on a single full charge. Yes, 124 still doesn’t seem like a lot, but imagine if you were to use this every day commuting to work. If you don’t work farther than maybe 50 miles each way, then this car should save you a lot of money in the future. If your company has a charging station or at least a plug you could use while you’re at work, even better
