في السنه الماضيه إنضمت ولاية نيوجرزي إلى ال 29 ولاية الاتي الغين الفحص السنوي
لسلامة المركبات مثل فحص المساحات و الفرامل و الاطارات و الان ولاية Mississippi تفكر في ذلك أيضا..

و لاية نيوجرسي تنفق حوالي 12 مليون دولار كل سنه في فحص السيارات و حوالي 6% فقط من السيارات
لم تنجح في إختبارات السلامه و السبب يكون أن أكثر ملاكي السيارات يقومون بإصلاح عيوب مركباتهم قبل

المجىء بها إلى الفحص السنوي و هذا هو السبب في إلغاء الفحص السنوي و الذي اصبح يكلف أكثر من
قيمته إذا كانت نسبة السيارات التي لم تنجح في أختبار السلامه قليله جدا...
New Jersey's reasoning was that $12 million was being spent annually on a program that rejected only six percent of the vehicles inspected. This does not account for anticipation of the test by registrants. As someone who has been privy to many pre-inspection conversations, most car owners regard the inspection process as something they would rather not fail. As a result most drivers correct designated items prior to the trip to the inspecting facility. This negates the value of the rejection rate as a reason for dropping inspections.
و لكن في الجانب الاخر ذكر مسؤول في ولاية بنسلفانيا ان الفصح السنوي يقلل من الحوادث
و ينقذ الكثيرين...
The elimination of safety and mechanical inspections is nothing new, 29 other states no longer require them. The Governor’s administration has questioned the effectiveness of state vehicle safety inspections but one recent study (March 2009) conducted in Pennsylvania found that its inspection program reduced fatal crashes and saved lives in that state. The findings went further to say that, “Nationally, vehicle safety inspection programs appear to be a significant factor in lowering fatal crashes.”
و تقول معلومه اخرى أن حوالي 54 مليون دولار ما قيمته من الصيانه تم تجاهلها من قبل ملاك

Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association estimated that in 2009, $54 billion dollars' worth of maintenance work was ignored or not fully performed.
و بمقارنه فحص السيارات في الامارات أعتقد أننا الافصل...
